Northern Minnesota has been rocked by snowstorms, ice and plummeting temperatures lately. Over the weekend, I spent some time photographing in Duluth, Minnesota and made this Mallard image in Canal Park. The temperatures were around -13F and these ducks could certainly feel it! This knowing drake was watching the camera while the small raft of Mallards warded off the sub-zero December temperatures in Duluth, MN – December 7th, 2013
